    10/20 not mid table?

    in Club Soccer Community

3 times now ive finished 10/20 with a target of mid table, to be told ive failed - and twice been sacked because of it. incredibly frustrating after putting in time with a lower league club to get to the prem.

also frustrating to build a 57k stadium, max out facilities and training ground, only to still be offered 72 rated players on the market.

ive also lost a play off final, when my target was only to reach the play offs, to be told i failed.

finally why is the europa league a knockout, with ko group phase?

Winning the league is the most frustrating. Trust me, when you end up coming fourth in a major country and they tell you to win the league, you have to win the league or they won't give you another year. I've had 60mil profits as Schalke 04 and came second after losing to a Bayern Munich team which had close to 100 points in 34 games, it was frustrating. Board Confidence went down and I need to work hard to get a new deal.

As always we will check and make sure there is nothing untoward with the targeting and expectations. If you finished mid table then you shouldn't of been told you failed. In terms of being offered 72 rated players will maxed out facilities etc, some of this will be done to the club strength, the managers strength and a bit of your rating in terms of if the player is attracted. It won't be the stadium alone, but it does help. The europa comp is a cup in our game as we don't have the multiple leagues needed to formulate a league based format. In terms of the winning the league target, this is obviously reserved only for the top clubs, and these clubs do not like coming second which is why they are so strict. Take Real Madrid & Barcelona in real life. If any off those teams finish runners up, often the manager pays the price as its a failure. Thanks for your comments as always, we will continue to make the game better and adapt and fix any issues that arise

I finished 10/20 and didn't fail my mid table target. So something's fixed! Thanks.

However, a few seasons earlier I had a target of promotion, and won in the play-offs (getting promoted!) but failed. Does this target mean automatic promotion places or is this a gap in the code?

Also to have a target of top 4 in the prem for a club with a reputation of 78 is a bit over ambitious! Destined to fail that one :(

Target of Promotion is Automatic Promotion, if it was playoffs, it will say "Reach the Playoffs". Top 4 for a 78rep may seem hard, but I am currently doing the exact same thing. As Everton, with 77 rep, I'm trying to finish top 4. 10 games in, I'm currently leading my league against 85-90 rep teams. For tips, use a 3-5-2 Passing Technique! It will help you a lot.
