I have a question about an otherwise great game.
I am playing in the 3rd tier of the English league, but have made a lot of money by lucky away draws against Man Utd and Arsenal in FA Cup and League cup so have nearly £8M in the bank, however when I ask to increase wages (which normally they will do in return for reduction of funds) they keep saying that the budgets can't be changed. What's up with that?
The board like to keep the wage budget as tight as possible and only allow increases up to a certain amount above the initial wage budget. This is to stop a boom and bust scenario where they allow all the funds for that year to be spent on wages, but players contracts can be 2 or 3 years so problems could arise later on. So its just them being cautious
